No, sorry I dont have any info other than ive seen the dev kit. Cute part. Bout 1x1 square, and its a full serial uart interface. Just send it AT commands. I think the pricing was around $20 per, but I don't know for sure. Charles Craft wrote: They've been running ads for these the last couple months but not orderable. Web site says shipping in June 2005 but only the dev kit shows up. Any idea when they will start shipping and what the price will be? The Chipcon modules from Microchip are back ordered but they do exist. Got a pair of them with the Zigbee dev kit from Microchip. Seems most RF parts are small and SMT only. Microchip says they will use the ZMD 44101 for 800 and 900 Mhz Zigbee. Maybe you can get a thru-hole socket for it. http://www.zmd.de/ -----Original Message----- From: alan smith Sent: Jul 1, 2005 9:00 AM To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public." I looked at the Chipcon part (CC2420) that MChip uses in their demo kit, but it's QLP-48. Anyone know of a DIP part from someone else? I saw you can buy just the RF daughter board from MChip ($40), but I was hoping to find just a chip.
