Yeah, maybe.  And this was from like 10pm to 5am, and it's amazing that at night, being tired, etc we didn't make more mistakes.  We calculated that we could do xx bytes per minute, and we were doing a large number of bytes pretty quickly.

 

I used that terminal program to download a much better, fuller featured version.  Who knows if all the features of the original one worked, but it worked well enough to download something else.  We were very careful that we got it perfect, and I repeated each and every byte back.  I also remember reading each entire line back to make sure line for line it was perfect.  It was *very* tedious.

 

I do remember a single minor error in the text, so the entry display screen had a typo.  But who knows.  There were probably other errors, but thank god I never needed to execute a screwed-up piece of code.
