Unfortunately, the output voltage swing is from Vss to (Vdd - 1.5) or 0V to 3.5V with a 5V rail. While I could go through hoops to make that work, I'd prefer to have R-R output as well as input. But thanks for the suggestion! I've got the two other part numbers suggested earlier by list-members coming in later this morning: MCP6002 & LMC6482 as well as a couple others from TI. I appreciate the suggestions that were made - I had started with a list that numbered in hundreds (TI, NS, LTC, AD, NJR, others). Interestingly enough, I hadn't included Microchip parts in the list and would have not considered them but for the suggestion that was made here. dwayne > > Does anyone have a favorite dual op-amp in an 8 pin DIP package that does > > rail-to-rail on both input and output from a single 5V rail? > > > > FET input > > Rail-to-rail on input with 5V supply > > Rail-to-rail on output > > Dual op-amps in 8 pin DIP package > > better than 1 MHz GBW > > better than 10V / us slew rate (now relaxed to 2V/us) > > input offset better than 10 mV -- Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax Celebrating 21 years of Engineering Innovation (1984 - 2005) .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .-. .- `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' `-' Do NOT send unsolicited commercial email to this email address.
