Hi again Tino, I forgot to mention that another solution is to use Bluetooth serial adaptors. I've been looking into these as serial cable replacements in an assortment of projects. I've seen these from $60 to $100 around the web. I have not purchased any yet so I don't have a specific recommendation. A Google search on "Bluetooth serial port" will show you lots of products. I have used Bluetooth serial devices and they work well. Your machines Bluetooth adaptor and software creates a com port that looks just like a standard local com port. Your ICD software uses this port and the Bluetooth software handles all the details of sending/receiving the data from the remote Bluetooth device. To use the Bluetooth option, your development box will need a Bluetooth adaptor. These run about $35 at my local Circuit City and Best Buy. I've seen lots of serial to radio products in my searches and I think the Bluetooth is comparable in price. Unlike the single purpose serial to radio products, the Bluetooth option gives you an interesting set of services and options. Bluetooth can be a pain at times but I find that I can do a lot of useful things with it. -Chris ________________________________ Caution: Don't look into laser with remaining eye.
