I never saw this appear on the list so I'm sending it again. If this is a dupe I apologize. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: ChrisPicList Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2005 8:41 AM To: 'Microcontroller discussion list - Public.' Subject: RE: [PIC]: accessing remote ICD2 Take a look at RealTerm (http://realterm.sourceforge.net/) RT lets you transmit and receive serial data over the network. I've used it a number of different ways for testing and remote control projects and it works well. Best of all it's free. It's needs are very small so any junk computer that can run Windows would be fine for the remote end. -Chris _ -----Original Message----- i have to debug a pic based system in a remote location. to avoid using 100m of serial cable, i would like to access the icd2 over the ethernet. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
