Is that possible? (I believe it is). Are there any affordable > (free is better!) software to do this? Thanks in advance for your > help. Kinda an odd proposal for a solution, but... get a pocket pc. A pocket PC can sync with up to two different PCs, and you can set it so that email from PC1 will update PC2 only, if that's all you want. It can also go both ways. It's bigger then a USB key, but then you'd have a new toy to play with! Pretty much any Pocket PC PDA will work for this. It might also be possible with the Palm platform, of that I'm not sure.
