Let me clarify that I'm not advocating using solid wire, if that's what you're 
thinking -- just a *single* length of stranded wire from a trunk-mounted 
battery in the rear to the starter solenoid in the engine bay.  From there it 
distributes to all the systems.  Only thing I might do different here is to 
run a separate wire from the battery to the fuel pump.

Nope -- it's mounted on the fender well.
