When I was at Datapoint, I recall at least three people being involved, for
perhaps a year.  However, it was a "secret" project at the time, so it
could have been more for longer.   Unfortunately, as mentioned above, it
stayed secret nearly forever.

The host was the equivalent of an 8008 with 16K.  The controller was only
slightly smarter.
