They should've told you what the errors were. I use BareBones (another 4pcb service) periodically, and they apparently send that thru the freeDFM service anyway. I found this out when they found a few errors once, and notified me of them. The report came with images of the board and the description of the problems (apparently the top layer shifted a few mils without the bottom layer and caused some traces to short).
