This is a very tough problem.  The short answer is we don't, our customer
does.

A custom ballancing machine was built just for this purpose.  Yes, it's the
same principle as tire ballancing.  The machine tells them how many
milligrams to add at what angle.  There are empty solder holes all around
the edge of the board just for this purpose.  The really tricky part is that
the system dynamics are different between the globe on and in open air.
Taking the globe off is like taking the ship out of the bottle.
