To my way of thinking (with no hard evidence except the strongly
suggestive -04 marking), 6MHz is so far out of spec that you'd
expect a proportion (possibly large, but who can tell beforehand ?)
of 300 to not work. If it were me, I'd want to test each and every
PIC at 6MHz - and comprehensively too, unless you're willing to
put a sub-standard product on the market just to save a few cents -
to find the ones which will not run properly. But is this really worth
the effort ? Or fair to customers ?
