Yup. In addition, most cellphones get warm when in use so they tend to warm the area they come in contact with. This reminds me of the guy that showed up at my parents house to do a "free energy audit". He had, of all things, a light meter with an inconspicuous bit of black tape over the logo. He used it to show my mom that our windows were terribly energy inefficient and that we should buy new ones from his company. I pointed out that it looked just like a light meter I had seen in a photography book. He got very nervous and departed shortly thereafter. My mom gave me a buck for that one!
