They have thermographic images of people's heads after using a cellphone for 15 minutes with and without their device. http://www.mybiopro.com/AU/research_thermoimaging.aspx?ID=healthfirstnz Even a graph http://www.mybiopro.com/AU/research_graph.aspx?ID=healthfirstnz OK - that constitutes good old everyday fraud. That should be actionable legally and a matter for the police. I'll tell them that and see what happens. Ah - that was the cheap one. Here they have a $NZ360 =~ $US260 one http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/0004-3267-3270-3271-/auction-27521102.htm RM __________________ Buyer comment; While this product is obviously snake oil and makes ludicrous claims, the research information at http://www.mybiopro.com/AU/research_graph.aspx?ID=healthfirstnz goes beyond that and constitutes (as far as I can tell, I am not a lawyer)fraudulent activity. The research does not exist as it is not possible that the device involved causes the results shown. I will be referring this ad to the Consumers Institute on Monday and possibly to the police and possibly to Commerce Commission. I have a contact for one of the police who monitors trademe activity so I may send it to him - although it's outside his normal area. I suggest that withdrawing the ad promptly and not ever resubmitting it is in your best interests, but of course what you do is up to you. With luck you yourselves don't realise how bogus this product is and aren't aware that you are ripping credulous people off. Whether that is a legal defence for misrepresenting research etc in an ad I don't know. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
