I'm looking for a motor manufacturer who does high-voltage dc motors, the kind designed to operate from rectified AC. This is one of several options being considered. The idea is that there could be a AC version and a battery version of the tool with minimal changes. A universal drill motor is another option, but we have established suppliers for those. The motor will be connected to a gearbox (that we would design, but doesn't exist yet) that drives a pump. Preliminary design indicates the pump needs to turn 2800 to 3000 rpm and requires about 2 Nm of torque. Anyone have experience/knowledge of a manufacturer that has a product similar? Other ideas?
