That's basically what I said, except I tried to attach a script I use that builds the ZIP file. The script comments contain a checklist that I go thru religiously each time I make a PCB fab package in Eagle. Unfortunately the list server said: > This report relates to a message you sent with the following header > fields: > > Message-id: <003e01c55bc3$138809c0$780010ac@radianse.com> > Date: Wed, 18 May 2005 12:03:03 -0400 > From: olin_piclist@embedinc.com (Olin Lathrop) > To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public." > Subject: Re: [EE] How to generate gerber data files > > Your message cannot be delivered to the following recipients: > > Recipient address: piclist@mit.edu > Reason: SMTP transmission failure has occurred > Diagnostic code: smtp;554 5.7.1 Executable attachments not accepted > Remote system: dns;fort-point-station.mit.edu > (TCP|206.46.252.46|41928|18.7.7.76|25) (MIT.EDU ESMTP Sendmail > [no collect or third party calls] at Wed, 18 May 2005 12:02:52 -0400 > [EDT]) So I guess I can't attach a BAT file since the list server thinks we're all idiots and execute any attachment we receive without applying any thought first. Personally, I think anyone dumb enough to execute attachments doesn't belong on the internet and deserves to have his files deleted, and that none of this is business of the list server anyway. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
