 Tried that and we never got numbers that agreed.  I even tried
different calculation methods using programs such as Hashcalc
and Fsum by Slavasoft (www.slavasoft.com).  In the end, it was
easiest (and probably the most reliable) to have the vendor burn a
first article and us put it in a pre-prod unit and do a 100%
functional test.
