As a matter of interest, how did you manage to blow it?  

It may have a thermal fuse wound into the outer layers of insulation - if you unpeel it carefully (those wires 
are likely to be very fine and easily broken) you may be able to short it temporarily and measure the 
secondary voltage.  Don't be tempted to solder in a new thermal cutout - the clue is in the name!  :-)
