It is better if this device could work from 3V as well, but the
strange thing is that in the data sheet it actually reads

maximum ratings:
supply voltage: -0.3v to +6V

This is very strange, as it would suggest that 0V is a permitted
supply, i.e. it will work with no supply voltage????
