Hi- My apologies a priori for multi-group post. OmniPort is a Public Domain 80x100 mm development board designed for Model Railroad electronic hobby projects. It comes in two versions: one for Microchip 28 pin PIC (16F, 18F) processors and one for Atmel 28 pin AVR (ATMega8) processors. It has provisions for two power supply circuits, 16 channels of low-high power outputs, a capacitance discharge unit, RS232/RS485, optoisolators, dual opamp, eeprom, and a 3A integrated H-bridge. I am nearly out of PIC based the 24 OmniPort PCB boards I had made (I have a few left for me). However, this represents a great opportunity for me to correct the mistakes on the board, and perhaps do some redesign, before I order some more. I would appreciate any feedback, suggestions for redesign, requests etc. Thanks for your attention.
