As the primary is 14k DC resistance and I'm only after a proportional
indication of mains voltage, would "poor" allow enough voltage (rather
than current for a load) to be available to do this ? I agree that a 240V
primary would be the best answer, but to complete the two prototypes
I'd like to use those I've already got. Mostly because they're a perfect
size. Mostly
