Right. :-) And, silly me, *now* when I took a look in the Xwisp2 config file (xwisp2.cfg), I found out that both 12F683 and 16F688 are already there ! He he... :-) Both are using the prog alogorithm that (in Xwisp2) is called "PIC16C" that also is used by the 12F675 and many others. That is a one-word-at-a-time algorithm. There is also a 4-words-at-a-time alogorithm (in Xwisp2 called PIC16D) currently used by the 16F818/819/87/88. Maybe that is *another* 4-word algorith then the one used in the 12F683 and 16F688 !?
