It is nice to see that cheap Pickit 1 has such great 
potentials. Please refer to the other subject 
"[PIC] Using pickit 1 to program other picmicros".

Of course, Wisp628 is also a very nice programmer too,
especially with the Xwisp2 host software. It can also
be used with Olin's EasyProg host software if updated
with the EasyISP firmware.
