You might, but that would be very impressive even for a regulated power supply! Also, regulated doesn't necessarily mean no ripple. Regulated only means that there is something that is actively trying to maintain (regulate) the output voltage despite variations in input voltage and load current draw. Many switching power supplies are well regulated, but have significant ripple too.
