If you want an entire inner layer to be a ground plane (or any other signal), name the layer $. If you want a plane on one of the outer layers, or don't want the entire layer to be the plane, then you have to use a polygon. In the board editor, draw a polygon in the desired layer and give it the name of the signal. There are a few more details which you can see by doing HELP POLY. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
