Errr... a touch of brainfade, methinks :-) That's ticks *per hour* at 60Hz... There are 86400 seconds in 24 hours, so at 50Hz that would be 4,320,000 ticks, at 60Hz it would be 5,184,000. (Unless you're counting zero-crossings, in which case it's double these, obviously).
