On the flip side, my intention is to become somewhat knowledgeable about this for my discussions w/CEMs. Additionally, I do make some products here in one-off quantities. I expect that when the compliance date rolls around, lead-based components and solder would not be available, except for repair purposes/etc. The question at that time will be -- what does one choose for solder, etc? Right now I'm just trying to get a headstart on that, although for many others, it's already late in the game I bet. Cheers, -Neil.
