Anyone know where to find or how to figure out the startup time for an IR 
receiver module?   (I'm using the TSOP4838 in this case).

The intention is to create a very low power IR receiver --  a PIC would sleep 
most of the time, but wake up periodically, switch on the IR receiver, then 
start checking to see if any signal is being received.
