There was an interesting comment about when enabling the data out in the ic-prog test panel the data in should also as they are tied to confirm the software using serial and connected to the programmer. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. I've shifted my focus away from the programmer and onto the serial cables and serial port on the computer so far not luck.
