Most of the time, it will go wrong in the time between when you realize that you are not prepared and the first instant that you could have done something about it. And of course, it will go wrong in the place that is the most difficult to get to. Finally, the chance that something will go wrong is directly proportional to how stupid it will make you look when it goes wrong.
