Yes the old HP lasers are good,
I've got a HP 5M colorlaserjet 
Toners come in half litre bottles at
Around $50 each 

For black/white I use a Kyocera 1700+ laser
20,000 copies per toner fill
Got a couple of Oki lasers 400ex/600ex 

Forget the Okipage they always have paper feed problems
