I've got a Panasonic KX-P7110 here - I got it for =A3120, down f= rom nearly =A3300 because it had been shipped out and then returned by someon= e else, completely unopened. I've had it since October last year, and it's = on its first "real" toner cartridge (real as in "not a half-full test cart"). PCL6, built-in duplexer, 14ppm, parallel, USB and Ethernet (100BaseT) interfaces. Even with the duplexer on, it cranks out 12ppm. Oh, and it's great for making toner-transfer PCBs using Staples photo pap= er. Set the toner density to maximum, paper source to "Manual feed slot", pri= nt, iron on and soak for 15 minutes in warm water (with a bit of washing-up liquid added). Works every time. > I have no experience of color printers except for inkjets so I don't=20 > know if color laser or something is good or not. Epson inkjets aren't bad. I've had my Stylus C64 printing on tracing pape= r before - I print a 0.1" grid on the back of the paper, then draw on the o= ther side with a Rotring Tikki mechanical pencil and ink with a 0.35mm Rotring Isograph pen. The grids are printed in blue - the nice thing about that i= s that you can just take the image data from the blue channel, clean it up = a bit and be done with it. If it doesn't make sense, think about what you w= ould see if you looked at a white sheet of paper with a blue and a black line = on it. Then think about what you would see if that same sheet of paper was illuminated by blue light. > Do a search on continuous ink systems. I'm not brave enough to butcher my C64 like that, though (and the family would kill me if I broke it!)
