I've bought from those guys - used their smt resistor kit to jump start my smt stocks. Good, honest service. In general though, I find it cheaper to buy the specific item (typically in 100 units) rather than a collection/kit. You wind up with stuff that never gets used. I've used maybe 1/3 of the resistor values from the kit. I also bought a 50 NPN and 50 PNP (mmbt390x) kit for like, iirc, $8 plus shipping. I haven't used the PNPs at all so the mouser $4/100 deal was better. What would be really good is a "MicroController Components Kit" - lots of common values (like 10K ohm, 1K ohm, several values of LED dropping Rs, 100 nF, crystals, max232, connectors, headers, ...).
