Try Electronics Express, they don't carry many components, but they do
carry several inexpensive perfboards.  Interestingly, I purchased a
protoboard from them that was approximately the same size as a one at
Radio Shack.  It turned out that it was exactly the same with the radio
shack label and everything else too.  I generally buy the biggest board
from radio shack and cut it into smaller pieces.
