I've seen them fairly inexpensive, but not really cheap. Depends if you want static or multiplexed drive, too. It's an oddball requirement- the elastomer connector generally requires a matching gold-plated PCB and precise location of the glass wrt the PCB (usually achieved via a molding or stamping).
