There was a post about blue lighting used in trains & hospitals at night,
presumably the colour is chosen because it doesn't upset peoples sleep.
I've never actually seen that, but as mentioned, there's another reason for
blue lights (which doesn't work).

Yeah, needles make me cringe too!
