As author of Xwisp2 I'm afraid I must warn you that the latest version of Xwisp2 may _seem_ to support a number of PICs which are not really supported by the Wisp628 firmware. This applies to the 18F4550 and some others newer members of the 18F family. In short: Wouter's Wisp628 firmware supports only those 18F's which are programmed 8 bytes at a time. This includes all older 18Fxxx and many of the newer 18Fxxxx, but not all. You need to consult the datasheets or simply try and check for verify errors. Sorry for this somewhat misleading information with the XWisp2 1.5.3, will be corrected in version 1.6.0.
