I am trying to work this DDE example and I cannot find out how to enter =
or get data from Excel cells using the Get and Poke buttons. The example =
is located at:

Down the page a little bit is a section called "DDE Software download =
area" where you will find the example program called  "Sample C program =
to control Excel".

Are the Excel cells supposed to be formatted for dde use or something. =
Most other things work except cell data exchange?
