I'm looking for a font which will take plaintext unicode and display the hex values. If that's not clear, imagine it this way: Given a sample of text, I'd like to highlight it, change the font, and be given a display of the unicode character code for each character. My thought is that this would be an easy way to see what a serial device is returning in HyperTerminal. I know, there are other programs that can be used, but if I can do it in HT, why not? Does anyone know of such a beast? Or of a free way to make it? Google for "hex display font" and variations on such does not seem to produce any good results, and I am hesitant to visit free font websites because they seem to be popup spyware breeders.
