Actually, I did look at some MOSFET drivers, and sort of concluded
that they were ok for providing high (moderate) currents for about
the amount of time it takes to charge/discharge the gate capacitance
of a big mosfet, but probably not so good at providing that sort of
current on a continuous basis.  Am I mistaken?
