(with a tag, this time.) (What happened to the automatic warnings that used to go out when one posted without any tag?) Does someone make push-pull driver ICs in the 50 to 500mA range? Buffer ICs occasionally get up to the low end of that (64mA for some logic families, under assorted conditions, usually not symetric), and H-bridge ICs seems to start at about 1A and up. There are a fair number of "peripheral drivers" that are open collector (the ULN family for instance, is in that range for sink or source only.) I would imagine some of the CD drive support ICs are in that range, but have a lot of other stuff thrown in a well... The ideal family would have a range of packages from 6 to 18 pins with 2 to 8 drivers in a package...
