We work almost always in surface mount, even down to
0201 packages BUT we also keep a bunch of various 1/4W
thruhole resistors around because its so much easer to
add a pup to something by tacking on something with
leads....

But true to nature, one of our engineers asked the
other day....is this a 22ohm or 220ohm....
