Hi, Short question: I'm looking for a Telnet program that displays received characters in Hex. Anyone know of a program that does this? Long question: I'm accustomed to using a terminal emulation program (Terminal.exe by Bray, http://bray.velenje.cx/avr/terminal/) with various RS232 projects. It's easy to switch between Hex and ASCII views. Now I have a project where I'm using an Lantronix XPort to convert RS232 to ethernet. I've managed to use Telnet, Puttytel and even Hyerteminal to connect to the device as : and send/receive ASCII with no problems at all - but none of these, AFAIK, allow me to view in hex format. I need to do this as one current project uses a binary protocol, and so far I can't see anything happening in any of the Telnet type terminal programs. I'm pretty much a beginner with TCP/IP, telnet, etc, so maybe I'm missing something basic like Telnet only working with 7 bit ASCII maybe?
