tongue-in-cheek humor poking fun at our habit of creating
really long compound words.

if you use LEO to translate 'look up', one of the results
you get is 'eine Tabelle aufschlagen'

maybe instead of 'aufschlag' it should be 'nachschlag(en)'

having to explain a joke makes it non-funny. No wonder 
everyone considers Germans so serious :)
