Modifying a photo laminator will work, the one on the Pulsar website is a modified GBC model. Some of these laminators are a bit low in temperature, and the feed rate is too high. The Pulsar one has had the gearing changed to slow it down, but still needs a few passes to get the toner to stick properly (I think, could be wrong here). Also, the rollers may be set to fixed width, too narrow to take a PCB. Pulling the fuser out of a defunct printer/copier is for the more enthusiastic, but may actually involve less effort in the end.
