How many do you actually need and what device/package have you got ? I once could get only SMT micros and wasn't using ICSP so had to make a half-a-dozen of these adapters. The "PCB" sticking up is plain etched board and could be stiff plastic - the IC isn't soldered to it, just glued. The "PCB" is in turn glued to the DIL socket. Epoxy or silcone works. Remember to finish all soldering before glueing !!!! The connections are single strands from multi-strand hook-up wire ------=_NextPart_000_001F_01C524F0.2AFC83B0 Content-Type: image/gif; name="smt-dil.gif" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="smt-dil.gif" R0lGODlhMgBCAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAMgBCAAAC/oyPqcvtDxuItNpLp9Fh+r4BHCZtIOhp3PiI rsh8H3q8bKnc9DyflW7K1YarYatm8yGKppErskoCSceQdUrFdVS9LHTJ3Xoz4Ct2bLSKtzB0rLx+ ud9ItXwurMefyDYrxUdnx9WmlKKnJLgXUnjTyOTgFMYmubSTprVImaNyGRQJ5xeYIEPzqah5Z3jS ebrwN6m6yfqJ5Rg7OqcjynhGsotbiAdshpdHGiZsnDjIbEws5usFfLi27PwkbLMt+8WpdiGNyQge /kOq+UtmxEtlyw0fLx/POW9/v/2Nfl3eT10kDpFAbOycRbq1L6GnHwjHYSplQZk1g05MMdTn6qHF XQwNM9ZqEq4jxUCAJL4SGdDdLXws79VrCRNeDEjLTApMeVFCxWs2+80iR8lXz4kffXQ5M1QiwGMG ByI71qXXUKJPkflhivQdU2Y7dR7canTVV3P1pPI7izat2gQFAAA7 ------=_NextPart_000_001F_01C524F0.2AFC83B0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist ------=_NextPart_000_001F_01C524F0.2AFC83B0--
