I don't know about this but I just finished quickreading a very interesting book on the subject. It's older but very good, because it has a lot of scientifical references. It's: "Future Weather", subtitled 'Carbon Dioxide, Climate and the Greenhouse Effect', by John Gribbin (Penguin/Pelican books). Even though it's from 1983 (!) it was an eye opener for me on this subject. Also this global warming thing seems to occur while the whole planet is on its way into the next ice age (i.e. it's supposed to be cooling, not necessarily slowly).
