All, A friend of mine has been asking me for some routines in BASIC that he can use in his experimentation and applications. I have written a few as well as given him a couple that I didn't write, that solved his problem. There are several good books on the market that deal with BASIC, ASSEMBLY, PASCAL, FORTH, Etc. but I havent found any yet that give you complete examples. Most are just code snippets or theoretical (and untried) concepts. I'd like to change that. So I'm asking to see if anyone has any particular code or routines they'd like to share. They can be in any variation of Basic. What I'd like to do is compile a book full of these routines along with an explanation of what it does, how it works, etc, etc, and make it available to anyone who wants it. What do you think of the idea? Good, Bad or Indifferent? I don't plan on this being a profit making venture, just a cookbook, if you will, of routines that solve everyday problems that everyone has access to. I initially will post this to my website and see how it goes. Sort of like the PICLIST software collection, but in something other than Assembly language. Let me know what you think.
