Nor around here. They put the flash lamps way off axis
to get a good shadow relief of the plate letters.
This also thwarts this product.

Photo blocker. Retro reflective clear coating to cause
license plate to be washed out by over exposure.
A small amount of image processing easily recovers the plate
lettering. Sucker born every minute. A two to take 'em.
