What do you call 'reasonable'? It is about the same value I get with a 
Wisp628 programmer and Xwisp2 under OS/2 for an 18F458 with a full 32KB 
program. Smaller programs go proportionally faster.

Xwisp2 for the Wisp628 transfers only the 'active' parts of PIC memory.
