Hi all
I am trying to use the build in parallel port and the CCP channel for the PWM.  The CCP channels requires the GIE and the PIE to be disabled.  The software tutorial for parallel port,
 requires them to be enabled.  On the other hand the hardware parallel port sets the PIE flag High when the CPU read the incoming stored data.
 
The PWM fires constantly.  Would the PIE flag prevent the CCP from working properly?
